The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) is 25 and we are celebrating this major milestone. In these 25 years of existence, the School has made giant strides; graduated worthy Alumni who are occupying enviable positions in government, industry and academia, contributing to the development of national and global economies. Prominent among these Alumni are the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCON; the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Commissioners, Ambassadors, Professors, Senior Civil Servants and Captains of Industry.

We invite you to join in this celebration that will offer us an opportunity to refocus and reposition the SGS for the next 25 years. We therefore appeal to you to make a token contribution towards this Anniversary.

For this reason, we have proposed a new building for the School of Graduate Studies of the University of Port Harcourt. Its purpose is to ensure that all the units comprising the School of Graduate Studies are housed in one structure to enable maximum efficiency and enhance a smooth running of all graduate programmes. This will ultimately lead to the production of world class graduates.

You can decide to endow your name on the whole or part of the proposed School's building by sponsoring its cost. Donations shall not only be properly acknowledged and documented, but managed judiciously.
